What is an "aligned client"?
For a travel advisor who is building their business, an aligned client is someone who is a good fit for the niche, service, and type of travel you serve and sell. An aligned client is someone in partnership with YOU, who respects YOUR time, energy and boundaries. They are willing to work alongside and partner with you in a respectful, relational manner following the YOUR lead through your sales process.
This exercise is something I take all my coaching clients through and it helps us have this aligned client in mind as we navigate the sales and marketing process for their business.
To help you get into the mindset of attracting your Aligned Client, you will need to begin identifying your Aligned Client using the following prompts and questions.
From the moment a prospect reaches out to you, they are on a service-based sales experience. EVERY single interaction with you needs to have THEIR best interests, needs, desires and vacation-vision in mind. You'll want to take them on an intuitive journey but it doesn't end at the sale. The client experience lasts until they have dropped their bags on their foyer floor, where they begin dreaming of their next trip almost immediately despite any bumps in the road. They will only feel this way if you have partnered with them and created a feeling of ease from start to finish.
